Private welcome tour. Your guide will lead thru old town and various places to give history and help you understand the lay of the island. Local tips are personalized to you and the stories will be tailored to your interest. Plan to spend at least 90 minutes walking in the tropical heat (or it is your tour we can stop and rest as you wish). Can cover a mile or two depending on your pace and desires. Seaport, historic homes, enchanted streets and trees, buildings where history happened, and the island came to be the wealthiest city in America in the mid 1850’s. Understand the rise and fall of various industries and how the town is the tourist destination it is today.
