Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Black Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Swordfish, Tilefish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and anything else that bites.
On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Cole can also have you kite fishing.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 34′ Sportfish that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available; however the anglers will be catching on the way out!
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the mate a minimum of 20% to show your appreciation.
